By recycling 95% of materials on-site, the initiative significantly cut landfill waste and carbon emissions, establishing a model for eco-friendly demolition and material processing in urban commercial construction. Leveraging advanced mobile crushing units, Canada Crushing processed up to 500 tons of material daily on-site, transforming concrete, steel, and other debris into high-quality reusable aggregates. This innovative approach streamlined the timeline and enhanced sustainability by reducing waste and transportation needs. In one of our large-scale projects, we processed 2,000 tonnes daily and were able to recover over 50 tonnes of steel, which the client also recycled. The material produced was repurposed as road base for reconstruction projects across Toronto and the Durham Region.
